Sr. Software Development Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) based in Hyderabad, India. You will shape the technical direction of platforms supporting the full driver journey: from onboarding and qualification to communication and team management tools.

Scope & Responsibilities:

• Owning architecture and technical strategy across multiple engineering teams.
• Leading large, cross-team initiatives from concept to production in a global, regulated domain (20+ countries).
• Designing secure, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems with robust authentication and data-handling practices.
• Turning regulatory requirements into configurable, global solutions by partnering with product, compliance, and legal teams.
• Mentoring engineers, contributing to hiring, conducting code/design reviews, and driving operational excellence (monitoring, cost, latency).

A Day in the Life:

You will connect dots across systems through design reviews, hands-on coding, debugging production issues, and pairing on APIs. You'll collaborate with global partners, interview candidates, support on-call rotations, or run workshops to help engineers grow.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming in at least one language (Java/TypeScript preferred).
• Experience leading design or architecture for new/existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or team leader.
