As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Vivado Simulator team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, you will be instrumental in enhancing AMD’s industry-leading simulator tools.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and integrate new hardware description language (HDL) features into the Vivado Simulator.
• Identify and implement performance optimizations to enhance tool efficiency.
• Validate new software features to ensure high quality before customer release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tool validation and applications engineers, to resolve customer issues.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of future architectural enhancements for a scalable and durable tool.

What You Bring:

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ with a solid understanding of object-oriented design.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and operating systems concepts.
• Familiarity with hardware languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with EDA tools, particularly HDL simulation, is a significant plus.
• A results-driven, self-motivated, and collaborative team spirit.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ECE, EE, or CS discipline.
