Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer specializing in Controls, Fire & Security Systems to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our clients' fire safety and security installations.

Position Overview

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive installation, diligent maintenance, and effective repair of a wide array of fire safety and security systems. This includes, but is not limited to, advanced fire alarm systems, state-of-the-art CCTV surveillance, robust access control solutions, and critical suppression systems. Your primary objective is to guarantee that all installed systems operate flawlessly and adhere strictly to all relevant safety regulations and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the installation, thorough testing, and precise commissioning of fire safety and security systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing schedules to ensure consistent system functionality and reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, then effectively repair any issues identified in fire alarm, CCTV, and broader security systems.
• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections to ensure full compliance with all pertinent fire and security regulations.
• Offer expert technical support and provide insightful recommendations to clients for system enhancements and upgrades.
• Maintain meticulous service records and generate detailed, accurate reports on all activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency system failures, providing rapid and effective resolution to minimize disruption.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety, or a closely related technical field.
• Accumulate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in servicing fire and security systems.
• Demonstrate strong technical proficiency with fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in fire safety or security systems are highly preferred.
