Sr. Project Engineer

Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer for Fire Access Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. This role is crucial for overseeing the design, installation, integration, and commissioning of these vital safety and security systems within buildings. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in managing the deployment of fire alarm, surveillance, and access control solutions, coupled with strong project management acumen and technical expertise to ensure adherence to industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities include leading projects for installation and commissioning of Fire Access Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems, ensuring timely and within-budget completion. You will oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of these systems, ensuring full operational capacity and compliance with regulations. Integration of these systems with other Building Management Systems (BMS), such as HVAC and lighting, is also a key aspect. Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, providing post-installation support and troubleshooting, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, and ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and security standards are also essential. Client interaction and satisfaction are paramount in this role.

Qualifications required are a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Security Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire access systems, CCTV, and access control systems. Strong technical expertise in fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems (e.g., proximity card readers, biometric scanners) is necessary. Proven project management experience in security and fire safety systems, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities are also required.
