Sr. Project Engineer

Johnson Controls in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer specializing in Fire Access Systems, CCTV, and Access Control Systems for a contract role. This position involves overseeing the complete lifecycle of these critical safety and security systems, from design and installation to integration and commissioning. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities and technical expertise to ensure all installations meet rigorous industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities include leading projects for fire alarm, CCTV, and access control system installations, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion. You will oversee the configuration, commissioning, and integration of these systems with other Building Management Systems (BMS) like HVAC and lighting. Comprehensive documentation, including designs, wiring diagrams, and compliance certificates, is essential. The role also requires providing post-installation troubleshooting, maintenance, and support, coordinating effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance and industry best practices. You will be the primary client liaison, providing project updates and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Diploma Degree in Engineering, Security Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire access, CCTV, and access control systems. Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control hardware (e.g., card readers, biometric scanners) is crucial. Proven project management experience in security and fire safety systems, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for this role.
