Sr. Product Engineer II

You will independently code engineering features based on design specifications, reporting directly to a Technical Lead or Senior Product Engineer. As a trusted developer within the team, you are expected to execute projects with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

• Execute complex projects autonomously using core skillsets and continuous learning.
• Maintain clean, efficient, well-documented code with regular refactoring practices.
• Create comprehensive low-level design documents covering edge cases, impact analysis, and task breakdowns.
• Collaborate on debugging production issues and resolving blockers effectively in a remote environment.
• Prioritize features versus bugs versus support tasks through constructive discussions with engineering leads.
• Implement end-to-end feature development including testing cycles per design specifications.

• 2-4 years of professional experience in software development within an enterprise SaaS environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions independently.
• Proven track record of delivering engineering projects with measurable impact metrics from start to finish.
• Strong capability to learn at least two frameworks quickly and apply them effectively.
• Experience designing RESTful web services, handling high-volume data processing pipelines, asynchronous operations, API integrations, and scalable application architecture.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL), MySQL optimization, data modeling fundamentals, and query performance tuning using Java and Spring Boot is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concerns, blockers, and improvement opportunities clearly in remote settings regardless of educational background.
