Sr Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer in Hyderabad, India, you will design, deploy, and operate networks aligned with business and technical requirements. You will collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and resolve issues, taking a lead role in mitigating outages. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing detailed problem diagnosis, and tracking issues in a trouble-ticketing system. You will also conduct non-critical investigations, proactively analyze network parameters for capacity and availability, and prepare for planned changes in the production environment. This role involves participating in a rotating on-call schedule, partnering with teams for software upgrades and device maintenance, and mentoring the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on operational improvements. You will provide feedback to infrastructure architects on design issues and contribute to new initiative designs. Within your first six months, you are expected to integrate into the environment, understand the network architecture and processes, deploy capacity into datacenters, participate in incident bridges, take ownership of sustainment engineering functions for at least two datacenters, and partner with the SRE team to resolve a network process issue.
