Senior Lead Software Engineer - React/Redux/ JavaScript/TypeScript/RxJS

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and support of JPMorgan's Execute trading platform, including its client and sales-facing applications.
• Architect and evolve front-end systems, creating design blueprints, component hierarchies, and scalable patterns to ensure a maintainable, modular, and testable codebase.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and QA engineers on technical analysis of client requirements, estimations, planning, and architecture design.
• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools, languages, and frameworks to address challenging technical problems.
• Influence application architecture, development processes, and contribute to internal frameworks and libraries.
• Gain valuable knowledge of financial markets through collaboration, business partnerships, extensive training, and workshops.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 5 years of applied experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, RxJS, and various UI frameworks.
• Demonstrated practical experience in system design, application development, testing, reactive programming, and ensuring operational stability.
• Proven ability to independently solve design and functionality problems with minimal supervision.
• Experience building high-performance desktop and web applications.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading delivery efforts.
• Proficiency in test-driven development, modern source control, and continuous integration practices.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness.
• Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments within the financial services sector.
• Proficiency in using AI-powered development tools to streamline coding, enhance code quality, and improve developer efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge of Java, Kubernetes, and Spring is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Investment Banking, FinTech, or Financial Markets is a plus.
