Sr. Java Developer

Role Overview: The Senior Software Engineer will support current and future-state billing and invoicing capabilities as part of a critical billing modernization program. This role focuses on robust backend development and complex integrations, ensuring seamless transition from incumbent vendors and strategic alignment with the client's transformation roadmap.

Technical Skills Required

• Java & Spring Boot Frameworks
• REST, SOAP APIs, and GraphQL integration patternsGCP services including Apigee for API management
• Event-driven architectures utilizing Pub/Sub and messaging queues
• CI/CD pipelines implementation and secure coding best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Sustain and evolve billing and invoicing backend systems to meet current operational needs and future business growth.
• Led efforts in knowledge transfer and onboarding, ensuring continuity during the strategic vendor transition period.
• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, production-quality backend services leveraging Java/Spring Boot.
• Construct resilient API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) connecting Credit systems with the core billing platform.
• Implement scalable event-driven solutions using Pub/Sub and advanced messaging architecture patterns.
• Foster close collaboration with Credit engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain code quality by reviewing, commenting on, and approving contributions while upholding strict engineering best practices.
