Sr. Integration Engineer

About the Role

ELLKAY is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our headquarters team as a computer-savvy problem solver with strong communication skills. This full-time position requires managing projects involving file formats like HL7, JSON, and XML, along with connectivity solutions such as APIs, SFTP, and TCP-IP.

Essential Duties

• Install and configure proprietary software solutions remotely.
• Oversee implementation of complex lab interface projects spanning multiple ELLKAY products.
• Plan project timelines and serve as the primary point of contact for all communications.
• Create accurate documentation, ensure effective handoffs for maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues with other team members.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of networking (VPN, SFTP, TCP-IP) and data formats (HL7, XML, CSV).
• Familiarity with HL7 message types (ORM, ORU, ADT, SIU, DFT), API security connectivity, and Postman.
• Experience in healthcare data & workflow is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience; minimum 2 years in application integration strongly preferred.
