Maker's Pride is seeking a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team in Downers Grove, IL. This pivotal role will serve as a strategic HR business partner, overseeing HR operations across multiple manufacturing sites within our Refrigerated, Fresh, and Frozen (RFF) Platform. You will lead and shape HR strategies, drive continuous improvement, and foster talent development to enhance business performance. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary HR leader for multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency, compliance, and strategic alignment.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Plant Managers and site leadership, influencing organizational effectiveness and talent planning.
  • Developing and implementing scalable HR frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Leading culture-building initiatives focused on engagement, inclusion, and recognition.
  • Overseeing organizational change, including design, integration, workforce adjustments, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Supporting leaders in cultivating a positive, safe, and productive workplace aligned with company values.
  • Managing the full talent lifecycle in partnership with Centers of Excellence, from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Driving enterprise Talent & Performance Management processes for consistent calibration and high-potential identification.
  • Building leadership pipelines through development programs and succession planning.
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, overseeing investigations and risk mitigation.
  • Partnering with site HR teams to ensure consistent application of policies and labor processes.
  • Strengthening union and non-union workforce relationships through proactive engagement.
  • Overseeing multisite community relations strategies and employer of choice initiatives.
  • Leading multilocation employee recognition programs.
  • Ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintaining HR metrics and dashboards for trend analysis and insights.
  • Championing HR best practices, data integrity, and process optimization.
  • Providing coaching and functional leadership to site-based HR managers and teams.
  • Building capability within the HR function through mentoring and training.
  • Participating in enterprise-level HR projects and process harmonization efforts.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
