About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer (Node.js / NestJS / Next.js) for a fully remote position in the United States. You will take technical ownership of both backend and frontend architecture, building scalable, secure web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Build RESTful APIs that integrate with third-party services.
- Create dynamic frontend applications with Next.js.
- Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations for performance.
- Ensure platform security, scalability, and reliability on Linux/Ubuntu servers.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with NestJS (backend) and Next.js (frontend).
- Solid understanding of HTTP, authentication sessions, web security best practices, and Git workflows.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Background in background jobs, queues, event-driven systems, and observability tools (monitoring/logging).
