Sr. Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in Virtual ECU (vECU) Development to contribute to our L3 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) functions. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and integration of vECU components, including middleware, interfaces, and communication stacks. You will model, simulate, and validate ECU behavior within SIL/MIL (Software-in-the-Loop/Model-in-the-Loop) environments using tools like dSPACE, ETAS, NI, and Vector. Integration of ADAS feature code with AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, ROS2, DDS, and real-time frameworks is a key responsibility. You will also create and maintain build pipelines for vECUs using CMake, Bazel, or Yocto, and enable virtual testing through scenario-based simulation with tools such as CarMaker, PreScan, or CARLA. Debugging timing, communication, and integration issues in virtual platforms and collaborating with perception, planning, controls, and HIL teams will be integral to your work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data/Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in embedded systems, ECU software, or simulation/SIL tooling.
• Strong C++ experience in automotive embedded development.
• Hands-on experience with vECU development, virtual platforms, or software simulation.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, DDS, and sensor emulation frameworks.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, SOME/IP, CAN/LIN, Ethernet, and ADAS software architecture.
• Experience with SIL/MIL workflows and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, versioning, and containerized builds.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with L2+/L3 ADAS stacks (perception, fusion, planning).
• Experience with virtualization frameworks.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and automotive safety concepts.
• Exposure to cloud-based simulation farms.
