Senior Engineer - Network Operations & Support

This role focuses on network operations and support, involving various aspects of infrastructure management and customer project implementation. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining high availability and performance of network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify the authenticity of Right of Way permissions from authorities.
• Reconcile demand notes and process Purchase Orders (POs) from customers.
• Maintain, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot network tools and equipment.
• Assist with and implement installations for new and existing customer and internal projects, including terminations, testing, and labeling of common transmission mediums, and hardware installations.
• Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and proactively work to maintain them.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments for networks, servers, applications, and operating systems.
• Perform network security audits and scanning on a regular basis.
• Compile and track vulnerabilities over time for metrics reporting.
• Timely upgrade of all tools and associated documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate degree with 0-4 years of experience.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in providing technical support in fast-paced, high availability, 24x7 environments.
• Knowledge of network and operating systems.
