Full Job Description
Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - DEMQRA WLR to join our team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. As a Wafer Level Reliability (WLR) Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability of our memory and storage solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass process reliability testing and analysis to support new product qualifications, ongoing reliability monitoring, High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) fab process conversions, and excursion mitigation.
In this pivotal role, you will develop advanced reliability models to correlate test structure data with product reliability, design and implement test methodologies adhering to industry standards (e.g., JEDEC), and proactively mitigate process reliability risks associated with advanced CMOS and Interconnect scaling. You will foster strong collaborations with cross-functional engineering teams, including Technology Development, Global Quality, Design Engineering, Product Engineering, and HVM Manufacturing Fabs, to achieve best-in-class quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Wafer Level and Package Level Reliability testing and analysis for CMOS and Interconnect technologies.
- Analyze failure modes and failure rates within the context of product qualification cycles.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments at critical decision points throughout the qualification process.
- Provide essential WLR support for HVM Fab Process conversions and disposition of excursion materials.
- Collaborate closely with Technology Development teams for the successful deployment of new technology nodes.
- Develop innovative process reliability tests to identify and characterize new process failure mechanisms.
- Ensure all test methodologies align with recognized industry standards, such as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Package Level / Wafer Level Reliability Systems, Parametric Analyzers, or Semiconductor Characterization tools.
- A strong foundation in intrinsic semiconductor reliability failure mechanisms and product fail modes.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts crucial for semiconductor reliability analysis.
- Good understanding of CMOS Device Engineering, process integration, and Statistical Quality Control principles.
- Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Nanotechnology, or Material Science Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in a related field.
