Full Job Description
Role Overview
You will own the front end automation that carries Velaura's custom silicon from RTL entry through verification flows (simulation via emulation/FPGA) to a clean handoff into DFT and implementation. Success is measured by increasing engineering productivity and maintaining robust tooling throughout the design cycle.
Responsibilities
- Own RTL design flows including build, lint, CDC (Clock Domain Crossing), and formal checks.
- Manage register generation and generator-driven flows for interfaces and integration.
- Lead DV flows covering testbench compilation, regression execution via distributed compute (LSF/Slurm), and coverage collection.
- Build AI-assisted tooling across design workflows using Python with strong Linux administration skills.
- Partner with DFT teams to ensure handoff readiness for physical implementation.
Required Qualifications
- +8 years in Design Verification, CAD engineering, or RTL design ownership.
- Strong SystemVerilog fluency and ability to debug complex testbenches.
- Expert Python skills for building automated tooling maintained by teams.
- Familiarity with Synopsys/Cadence/Siemens front-end EDA tools (VCS, Verdi, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UVM, cocotb, or hardware-accelerated emulation.
- Familiarity with LLMs/agentic systems applied to engineering workflows (RAG, fine-tuning).
