Sr. D&T Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role

General Mills, Digital and Technology India, is seeking a Sr. ML Engineer (Agentic Engineer) to join our D&T AI and Automation Organization as part of the Agentic Pioneers Program Team in Mumbai.

This role focuses on building next-generation Agentic AI platforms that power data-driven decision making at scale for Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG). You will lead technical enablement, integration, and enhancement of advanced agentic AI workflows to serve critical business needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Advanced Platform Enablement: Lead the development of scalable, sustainable Agentic AI pipelines adhering to strict performance and security standards using frameworks like LangChain or AutoGen.
• Integration Development: Architect custom connectors between diverse enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) and external services for seamless agentic workflows.
• Agent Orchestration: Develop strategies for managing complex multi-agent interactions, communication protocols, and decision-making processes within our ecosystem.
• MLOps & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, telemetry (tracing, feedback loops), and FinOps dashboards to drive continuous evaluation of agent quality and ROI.
• Lifecycle Management: Conduct performance tuning, bug fixes, security patching, and capacity planning for agentic platforms on hyperscalers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, possessing at least 1-2 years specifically working with Generative and Agentic AI technologies. Proficiency in Python/Java, API design (RESTful, GraphQL), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms is essential.
