Mission for This Role

Support the architecture, implementation, and daily operations of our observability and ITSM platforms. Ideal for someone passionate about reliability, automation, and modern cloud-native operations who wants to grow into a full Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

Core Responsibilities

• Observability Stack Operations: Assist with the deployment and maintenance of our Grafana-based observability suite including Loki (logs), Tempo (tracing), Pyroscope (profiling), Mimir (metrics), Alloy/Beyla/Faro, and AlertManager. Configure dashboards, maintain alerting rules, support troubleshooting, and contribute to automation using ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform.
• SRE Operations: Participate in on-call rotations, help define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, write runbooks, incident response guides, and post-incident reports. Support service health reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• ITSM Platform Support: Maintain Jira Service Management (JSM) environment including configuring queues, automation rules, SLAs, managing workflows, and supporting integrations with StatusPage for public updates.
• Security & Compliance: Follow best practices for system access and configuration management. Learn how observability supports SOC 2, HIPAA, and HiTrust standards by collaborating on audits and monitoring enhancements.

Required Experience

1-2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering (or equivalent internship/project experience). Basic understanding of monitoring/logging/tracing. Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus/Loki. Exposure to Kubernetes/Docker/Terraform/Helm preferred.

Prefereed Qualifications

• Experience in AWS/ECS/EKS, OpenTelemetry, or regulated industries (Healthcare/Fintech).
