Sr Delivery Manager

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager for its Post Sales Design Support team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This role is critical in managing a team of design engineers responsible for delivering post-sales design solutions for Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) and Gas Based Suppression systems, including fire detection systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Preparing technical submittals and shop drawings for customer approval and project execution.
• Creating schematics, P&IDs, and isometric layouts.
• Proficiency in preparing hydraulic calculations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and DDC schedules.
• Ensuring project execution with a focus on zero customer complaints.
• Possessing technical competency across various firefighting systems, including:
• Fire alarm and Public Address Systems
• Security systems such as CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Physical Security, and Intruder Alarm Systems.
• BMS for General Arrangement (GA) and shop drawings.
• Gaseous suppression systems (FM-200, CO2, and Inert gas).
• Coordinating with architects, clients, and contractors throughout project lifecycles.
• Adhering to operational process requirements to enhance efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
• Good knowledge of the IBMS industry.
• 8 to 13 years of design expertise in IBMS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a focus on time-bound delivery of project deliverables.
• The ability to develop good work practices and standard procedures to optimize time.
• A track record of minimizing engineering changes and delivering high-quality results.
• Experience in design process improvement, including Python scripting and Windows SW application testing.
• Excellent teamwork capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage both detailed tasks and broader assignments.
• A professional, results-oriented mindset with a high degree of self-motivation.
