Sr. Data Engineer

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Order to Cash (OTC/O2C) Global Reporting team in Gurgaon, India. This role focuses on optimizing and enhancing our O2C reporting capabilities through data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities include preparing and publishing accurate reports on regular intervals to local managers and PBU counterparts, creating and maintaining process dashboards, and supporting financial planning activities by analyzing business process-related projects and reports that highlight operating performance. You will also prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports with flawless execution, and interact with IT staff and leadership to analyze issues and integrate data from various sources for reporting optimization.

Requirements include a postgraduate/master’s degree in any stream, 10-14 years of experience in Operations and Finance Analytical Functions, with a mandatory 6+ years of experience within the O2C domain. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Advanced Excel, VBA, and macros is mandatory. Snowflake experience is a plus. This role requires working US business hours (night shift).
