Sr Cloud Security Engineer

Join PayPal as a Sr Cloud Security Engineer in Bengaluru, India, focusing on securing large-scale, dynamic cloud environments across GCP and AWS. You will apply security best practices, optimize systems, and align security solutions with business objectives. This role involves partnering with peers and internal teams on security initiatives, contributing to cross-functional projects, and analyzing complex security challenges. You will influence team effectiveness through informed decision-making and collaborate with engineers to drive continuous improvements. A minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience is required, with a strong focus on AWS and GCP infrastructure, container and host security, and cloud-native security tools. Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CSPM, SAST, DAST, API security, DDoS, and WAF is highly desirable. Development experience is a plus. Cloud Security certifications (AWS, GCP) and a degree in Computer Science or a related field are preferred. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
