Sr. Backend Engineer

Bhukya Software Technologies is seeking experienced Senior Backend Engineers to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. You will be instrumental in designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices capable of handling high-throughput data processing, identity matching, profile management, and real-time event processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable microservices utilizing Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs adhering to OpenAPI specifications.
• Integrate and manage event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code using modern Java features.
• Optimize application performance through effective caching strategies and query tuning.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions using modern stacks.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java 21+ or Kotlin.
• Experience with Spring Boot 3.x (including MVC / WebFlux, Data JPA, Security).
• Solid understanding of microservices patterns such as SAGA, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit 5, Mockito, and TestContainers.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, JanusGraph).
• Experience with Reactive Programming (Project Reactor).
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding and implementation of Resilience4j patterns.
