Sr. Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Develop efficient backend systems and strategic plans that deliver immediate value while aligning with long-term vision.
• Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers to understand pain points, collaborating on innovative solutions to enhance their experience.
• Critical Thinking: Apply unbiased critical thinking to problem-solving. Challenge existing solutions and propose novel approaches from the ground up.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of full-time professional experience building backend systems for senior roles.
• Be a proactive self-starter capable of independently solving complex problems.
• Write clean, maintainable code using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL (or relevant stacks).
• Troubleshoot and debug issues within the backend system effectively.
• Optimize performance for GCP services and DBT pipelines.
• Familiarity with frontend basics (React/JS) is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn, natural curiosity, and a drive for creative solutions.
