Sr. Backend Developer

About the Role

Red Apple Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js to join our team in Kolkata, West Bengal. This is a full-time, in-person position with a 5-day work week.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will collaborate with development teams and product managers to conceptualize and implement innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing robust client-side and server-side architecture, developing and managing high-performing, secure backend APIs for consumption by various platforms (mobile apps, websites, etc.), and ensuring the responsiveness and efficiency of applications through rigorous testing.

Your role will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software, as well as building features with a mobile-responsive design. Familiarity with CI/CD integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Design and develop secure and high performing backend API that can be consumed by any platform like mobile apps, website etc.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Familiar with CI/CD integration will be a plus.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Must have experience in Team handling.
• Experience developing backend for web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
• Proficient in modern JavaScript framework React.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
• Proficient in writing Stored Procedures, views, trigger in MySql.

• Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹960,000.00 per year
