Sr. Associate Software Engineer

Amgen is looking for a Sr. Associate Software Engineer in Hyderabad, Telangana, to join our team focused on the design, development, and deployment of our Revenue Management ecosystem. This role involves hands-on development and monitoring of key technologies including AWS Redshift, AWS Administration, Veracode Management, Gitlab Pipeline & CI/CD Workflows Management, and Databricks workspace management and development. You will be instrumental in building interfaces, ensuring security best practices, managing RedShift Serverless data, and deploying cloud-native solutions.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with product owners, architects, and agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance customer experience and safeguard data. Responsibilities include rapid prototyping, managing AWS roles and Veracode access for project teams, configuring Veracode for application security scanning, managing Nimbus teams, setting up GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines, administering Databricks workspaces, and ensuring smooth integration with other platforms. You will also engage in Databricks development, monitoring, and troubleshooting, provide technical guidance to junior developers, contribute to full-stack development using cloud technologies, and develop innovative solutions using generative AI.

Additional duties involve conducting code reviews, maintaining comprehensive documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, and operations, identifying and resolving technical challenges, and staying updated with the latest technological advancements. You will also work closely with product and business teams, analyze functional and technical requirements, develop and execute unit and integration tests, resolve software bugs and performance issues, and provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 5 to 9 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of AWS cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and Veracode.
• Proficient in Databricks development and administration.
• Full-stack software development experience, preferably with Python, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a quick learning ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with API integration, serverless, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in process automation and Agile practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Databricks certifications are a plus.
