Senior App Developer / Mobile Architect Lead - iOS / Android Platform
Benovymed Healthcare Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced Android engineer to spearhead mobile app development. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional coding and bug-fixing skills, with a proven track record of building scalable tech products from inception, preferably within an early-stage tech startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Android, iOS, and Hybrid mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering Heads, UX/UI Designers, Fullstack Developers, and Testers to deliver high-quality products with minimal defects.
- Integrate with various APIs and data sources.
- Identify and resolve software defects.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance the cross-functional platform.
- Contribute to the development of multi-functional mobile applications as an Android developer.
Required Skillsets:
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with end-to-end development experience.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK, various Android versions, and adaptive layout techniques for diverse screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to backend services.
- Strong knowledge of Flutter principles, patterns, and best practices for Android, iOS, and Hybrid development.
- Proficiency with Android Studio.
- Ability to integrate with third-party application APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, client engagement strategies, AI chatbots, and push notification features.
- Aptitude for performance benchmarking and optimization.
- Solid understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with continuous integration pipelines.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in a rapidly growing early-stage startup, ideally within the Digital Health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing mobile app products from scratch within an early-stage startup, preferably as part of a founding team.
- Proven ability to manage the entire mobile app development lifecycle independently, from concept to launch, for highly scalable Android, iOS, and Hybrid Flutter platforms.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable engineering institute.
