Sr Analyst

About the Role

As a Sr Analyst - L1 Support Engineer for Data Platform Cloud support at Northern Trust's Pune office, you will provide critical 24x7 production support across APAC, EMEA, and North America. This role focuses on technical and functional support for Wealth Management platforms using enterprise data clouds.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor ETL jobs, data pipelines (Azure Data Factory/Databricks), file transfers, and batch scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Troubleshoot production incidents including job failures, reconciliation issues, MQ problems, and reporting defects using SQL and Python.
• Perform smoke testing for releases/DR events and manage alert queues via monitoring tools (APV/Catchpoint/Dynatrace).
• Liaise with upstream/downstream teams to validate data loads and drive automation of recovery processes.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 years in a technical, business-facing role within a financial institution or similar environment (ITIL/Cloud certified preferred).
• Tech Stack: Advanced SQL, UNIX/Linux, Shell Scripting, Python, ServiceNow.
• Schedule: Flexible availability including nights and weekends for global coverage rotation.
