MaimsD Technology is seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions within SQL Server (version 2016 and newer).
• Design, implement, and refine database schemas, applying normalization and denormalization techniques for optimal performance and scalability.
• Create and manage essential database objects such as tables, indexes, and views to ensure peak performance and data integrity across our systems.
• Develop and deploy SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse data sources.
• Handle and integrate large datasets from multiple disparate sources to effectively support critical business requirements.
• Utilize T-SQL, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) extensively for development, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Manage database change management and deployment processes, fostering collaboration with development and operations teams.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of database systems.
• Contribute actively to a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in SQL Server development (version 2016 or newer).
• Database Design & Development:
• Proficiency in designing databases, applying normalization and denormalization principles.
• Proven experience in creating and managing database objects including tables, indexes, and views.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and integrate data from various sources.
• Tools & Technologies:
• Expertise in T-SQL, SSRS, and SSMS.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is advantageous.
• Version Control & Deployment:
• Experience with source control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Understanding of database deployment workflows and change management best practices.
• Problem-Solving & Communication:
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions like Azure SQL Database.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and OLAP cube development.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
