SQL Server Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Developer with at least 2 years of experience working with SQL Server 2016 or newer. This permanent role in Ahmedabad requires a strong understanding of database development principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Design, normalize, and denormalize databases effectively.
• Create and manage database objects including tables, indexes, and views.
• Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration tasks.
• Work with large datasets and integrate data from various sources.

Tools and Technologies

• Proficiency in T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is advantageous.

Version Control and Deployment

• Experience with source control systems like Git or SVN.
• Understanding of database deployment processes and change management.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud databases such as Azure SQL Database.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and OLAP cubes.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
