About the Opportunity

Crossing Infotech invites freshers and entry-level graduates to join our SQL Developer Internship program. This role offers practical exposure to relational database concepts, focusing on data retrieval, query optimization, testing, validation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and test complex SQL queries for assigned development tasks.
• Analyze and retrieve valuable insights from large relational databases.
• Design tables using proper relationships (primary/foreign keys).
• Create, modify, and optimize database structures per project needs.
• Master core operations: SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, JOINs, GROUP BY.
• Perform rigorous data validation to identify inconsistencies.
• Assist in creating views, stored procedures, and functions under guidance.
• Troubleshoot query errors and basic database performance issues.

Who Can Apply

We welcome students or graduates from Computer Science, IT, BCA, B.Tech, MCA, Data Analytics, or related fields. Previous academic projects involving SQL are a plus.

Tech Stack & Skills Required

• Strong grasp of basic to intermediate SQL syntax and logic.
• Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Understanding of keys, relationships, filtering, sorting, and joins.
• Basic knowledge of database security principles.

Tech Stack & Skills Preferred

• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of subqueries and Common Table Expressions (CTEs).
• Familiarity with normalization concepts and indexing basics.
• Basic proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages is a bonus.
