Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee business-specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject matter.
• Promote adherence to all procedures and policies.
• Develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines, determining and executing appropriate processes and methodologies.

• Lead the development of Quality Assurance (QA) test project strategies, methodologies, and standard processes for large-scale, complex IT initiatives spanning all QA domains.
• Analyze business and technology requirements to ensure testability and traceability, and determine testing scope and approach.
• Oversee and address critical issues, dependencies, and risks related to testing.
• Ensure QA projects are appropriately staffed, work plans are followed, and milestones are met.
• Review and sign off on testing scope and approach, partnering with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders to review and approve the overall testing approach.
• Manage the development of test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
• Ensure quality metrics are tracked across all testing phases.
• Manage the review and validation of testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements.
• Develop QA project plans for moderately to highly complex projects by identifying project scope, work plans, schedules, milestones, and critical paths, and ensuring proper staffing.
• Develop guidelines and best practices to ensure test plans and timelines are aligned with project/program milestones.
• Define and ensure adherence with entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards.
• Review project status and milestones reports, providing justification for and first-level authorization for exceptions and waivers.
• Meet with IT and business stakeholders to address contingency plans, as appropriate.
• Generate scheduled reports (e.g., test execution, defects, ad hoc reports) and provide daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management.
• Initiate and evaluate required business process improvements to achieve business results and appropriate solutions for customers.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in SQA, software testing, or a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in Test Automation using Java.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience with Test Management tools like Qtest, QualityCenter, or similar.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience with Defect Management tools like JIRA or Rally.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience with API Test/Debugging tools like Postman, etc.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience working in and defining requirements for virtual testing environments.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience with JMeter.
• Must have very good communication skills and be familiar with the onsite/offshore working model.
