Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable applications powering critical business capabilities for a leading financial services organization. This opportunity goes beyond coding; you will actively participate in backlog refinement, solution architecture, technical decision-making, sprint planning, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor enterprise-grade microservices using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot ecosystem (Security, REST, Data JPA).
- Develop secure, resilient RESTful APIs and asynchronous event-driven integrations using Kafka.
- Implement CI/CD automation, observability, security scans (SonarQube), and robust unit/integration tests (JUnit/Mockito).
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance in distributed environments.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience designing enterprise Java applications and microservices.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Boot ecosystem, relational databases (SQL), SQL/JPA frameworks, Git/Maven/Gradle, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across global onshore/offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-native development (Docker/Kubernetes), RabbitMQ, non-relational databases, Linux environments, frontend technologies (Angular/React), and operational scripting.
