Role Overview

L3Harris Technologies invites applications for the Level 3 Systems Engineer position. This role supports mission-critical system solutions designed to serve the U.S., its allies, and global clients within the aerospace and defense industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage comprehensive system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using advanced tools like DOORS, ensuring rigorous accuracy and completeness throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Review new or delta requirements to decompose them into a robust L3Harris system baseline tailored for defense applications.
• Maintain bi-directional traceability across customer needs, system architecture, subsystems, and verification artifacts critical for compliance with government standards.
• Support the delivery of Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) and prepare essential content for design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and technical interchange meetings.
• Create verification matrices to support rigorous system validation activities by analysis efforts where applicable.
• Collaborate seamlessly across engineering disciplines, program management offices, customers, and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues driving successful program execution.
