Responsibilities
As a Specialist Software Engineer focusing on Java and full-stack development, you will be responsible for translating software requirements into robust, functional source code. Your role will encompass owning technical deliveries, providing mentorship to junior team members, and resolving complex technical challenges while maintaining a strong understanding of the functional scope. You will design and implement solutions for new calculators, ensuring adherence to coding standards. Key responsibilities also include establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines and providing essential production support.
Profile Required
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in application development and design, proficient in Java 8 and/or Java 11. Expertise in Core Java, including functional programming, Stream API, Enterprise Java, and Spring Boot, is essential. Strong experience with Reactjs and the ability to build RESTful web services and microservices from the ground up are required. A solid understanding of OOPS and OOAD principles is expected. Familiarity with cloud platforms and Docker is advantageous. A strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines for deployment is a must. Experience with TDD & BDD development methodologies is required. Exposure to application monitoring tools like Grafana and a general understanding of the investment banking industry are desirable. Experience with Open Source Stacks is also a plus.
