About the Role

As a Specialist Data Science & AI at Novartis in Hyderabad, Telangana, you will translate business questions into analytical problems and develop solutions using visualization techniques, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling. You will be responsible for exploring and developing data management techniques, novel algorithms, statistical models, and business models to extract insights from structured and unstructured data. This role involves quickly learning and piloting new tools, data sources, and analytical techniques to answer critical business questions and enhance existing processes. You will identify relevant research and apply innovative methodologies to real-world Novartis business challenges, providing clear and actionable business intelligence to key stakeholders. The position requires a practical understanding of data science domains and the ability to demonstrate proficiency in various techniques. You will contribute to the development of new quantitative methods to improve processes across projects and identify new analysis opportunities by integrating diverse data sources. While supporting various projects of limited scope, you will also be responsible for reporting technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios related to Novartis products within a 24-hour timeframe. Adherence to Novartis HSE and ISEC standards for a healthy and safe workplace is paramount, including implementing safety measures, providing training, supporting employee well-being, and investigating incidents collaboratively with HSE teams.
