About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional for a SPA SOX ITGC role in Bangalore. This position is ideal for non-CA candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in public accounting and/or industry, specifically focusing on SOX Key Control testing. Experience with Big 4 firms is highly desirable.

The work mode is hybrid, involving one week in the office and three weeks remote each month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate working knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Automated Controls (ITAC).
• Perform detailed testing on Logical Access, Change Management, Backup & Restoration, and Incident Management.
• Validate Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Effectiveness (TOE).
• Possess a basic understanding of professional audit standards, COSO, SOX, and risk assessment practices.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation abilities, to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
• Apply strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Utilize working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Contribute to initiatives in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Maintain a strong customer service focus, balancing oversight with business buy-in.
• Achieve individual performance goals.
• Stay current with information technology and auditing practices through continuous professional education.

Requirements:

• Non-CA with a minimum of two years of work experience in public accounting and/or industry with a focus on SOX Key Control testing.
• Big 4 experience is highly desired.
• Proficiency in ITGC and ITAC testing areas (Logical Access, Change Management, Incident Management, etc.).
• Experience with TOD and TOE validation.
• Understanding of audit standards, COSO, SOX, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
