Solutions Engineer

Join Sumo Logic in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, as a Solutions Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for a passionate engineer who thrives on building scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions. You will architect and implement complex hybrid infrastructure projects, leveraging your expertise in networking systems, applications, and cloud environments. Working within a highly skilled team, you will report directly to the Global Head of IT and collaborate under the guidance of the Lead Solution Architect.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions, improving existing systems through architectural reviews, and applying DevOps methodologies to infrastructure, cloud, identity, integration, and network solutions. You will focus on enhancing systems for compliance, security, and cost-optimization, contributing to streamlined, scalable, and resilient IT systems. This role involves building end-to-end provisioning solutions across multiple environments and fostering strong partnerships across Sumo Logic teams.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of industry experience with a proven track record. Key technical requirements include experience with scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures, observability, and cost-optimization in cloud (AWS preferred) settings. Hands-on experience with Fortinet network devices, DNS optimization (CloudFlare, AWS Transit Gateway, Route53 preferred), VPN management (FortiClient, ZScaler, Pritunl preferred), Identity Providers (Okta preferred), Certificate Management (Digicert, AWS ACM preferred), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), CI/CD pipelines (Scalr, GitHub Actions preferred), and automation/integration scripting (Python preferred) is essential. Excellent communication skills and experience with enterprise-scale systems are required. A willingness to participate in an on-call schedule during daylight regional hours is also expected.

Desirable skills include experience with ADP, Azure, and GCP. A passion for continuous learning, deep technological curiosity, and familiarity with Agile development practices (Jira, sprints) are highly valued.
