Solutions Engineer Intern 2027

Role Overview

The Solutions Engineer Intern will contribute to technical projects across engineering, data, advertising, and revenue systems. Duties include coding, debugging, automation, data analysis, documentation, and system design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, Support, and external partners while utilizing AI tools responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned technical projects with a focus on quality, incorporating feedback from mentors, managers, and peers.
• Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end that contribute to Pinterest products and infrastructure.
• Build, test, debug, and improve code, scripts, automations, internal tools, or data workflows under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Investigate technical issues using logs, data, documentation, and structured troubleshooting; help identify root causes, validate solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
• Participate in scheduled engineering on-call coverage during regular workdays to help triage and document issues with mentorship support.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, and Support teams to understand requirements and contribute practical solutions.
• Help improve reporting, monitoring, documentation, sample code, or support processes for team efficiency.
