Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

This Solutions Engineer role bridges sales and engineering within a high-growth SaaS company's founding India team based in partnership with Flexiple.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical discovery calls to understand prospect environments beyond RFPs.
• Build live demonstrations against real customer constraints.
• Execute and manage proofs of concept (PoC), including honest assessment when integrations fail.
• Document clear integration requirements for engineering teams without needing follow-up meetings.

The Reality:

You must be prepared to inform sales leads when a deal is not feasible, ensuring early intervention rather than letting PoCs quietly fail weeks later. This role requires composure when presenting technical solutions to skeptical audiences and deep hands-on ability to build working integrations, including API implementations and authentication models.

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Skill sets matching enterprise objections around data residency and complex integration scenarios.
