Full Job Description
NICE is looking for an experienced Solution Engineer in Mumbai, India, to specialize in creating high-impact, verticalized demonstrations and maintaining a deployable library of demo assets. This role involves technical storytelling, product expertise, and industry knowledge to showcase the possibilities of NICE's CX portfolio. The Solution Engineer will collaborate with sales, product, and solution consulting teams to translate business needs into compelling, scenario-based demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
Verticalized Demo Creation & Rapid Delivery
- Design, script, and build industry-specific demos for sectors like BFSI, Retail, BPO, Public Sector, and Healthcare, highlighting real-world customer journeys using NICE CXone, Cognigy, and WEM solutions.
- Maintain a reusable and scalable demo asset library for rapid customization and deployment by sales teams.
- Continuously enhance demo environments with new features, integrations, and data sets to reflect the latest product capabilities.
Discovery & Solution Storytelling
- Partner with Solution Consultants and Account Executives to understand customer challenges and translate them into tailored demo narratives.
- Conduct light discovery to ensure demonstrations align with customer personas, business processes, and KPIs.
- Connect business problems to product value by illustrating clear outcomes, ROI, and workflow improvements.
Technical Expertise & Platform Integration
- Build demo scenarios involving CXone, Agentic AI, WFM/QM, AI/Analytics, and digital/voice channels.
- Set up and maintain integrations, including CRM connectivity, data ingestion, automation flows, and sample datasets.
- Support Proofs of Concept (POCs) requiring deeper technical demonstration or configuration.
Sales Collaboration
- Work with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, and Product SMEs to prepare demo strategies for deals.
- Enable field teams by providing packaged demos, walkthroughs, scripts, and reusable vertical content.
- Assist with RFI/RFP technical inputs related to demo storytelling or product capability explanation.
Product & Industry Knowledge
- Act as a subject matter expert on demo best practices, competitive differentiation, and customer use cases.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, demo documentation, and playbooks.
- Stay current with product releases and incorporate updates into demo flows.
Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, demo engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Background in contact center solutions, cloud CX platforms, or workflow automation is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of CCaaS technologies, conversational AI (NLU/NLP), and cloud architectures.
- Ability to configure integrations, build demo data flows, and troubleshoot environment issues.
- Familiarity with CXone, Agentic AI, Chatbot, or similar platforms is a plus.
Communication & Storytelling
- Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technology for executive and operational audiences.
- Strong narrative design skills to craft compelling demo stories that resonate with vertical audiences.
Problem-Solving & Agility
- Ability to quickly understand a customer's business model and translate it into tailored demo scenarios.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with short turnaround times.
