About the Role: Solution Engineer

Scoutit is seeking talented Solution Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative chatbot solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed chatbot storyboards and user/process flows to clearly communicate interaction and design concepts.
• Design, develop, debug, and deploy conversational chatbot experiences utilizing various client platforms and tools.
• Communicate development progress and key milestone deliverables to peers, management, and executive-level client stakeholders.
• Contribute to the creation of guidelines, best practices, and standards for chatbot-featured deliverables.
• Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in chatbot development.
• Conduct demonstrations for client stakeholders, showcasing project features and sub-features that leverage chatbot solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in designing and developing chatbots for diverse channels (e.g., web, Facebook Messenger, SMS) using bot platforms or custom code.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript is essential.
• Experience with one or more backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Java is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• A portfolio showcasing excellent development skills and effective problem-solving abilities is required.
• Familiarity with creating workflows, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
