Solutions Engineer at Signeasy

This is a pivotal role offering a direct impact on revenue generation. As a Solutions Engineer at Signeasy, you will operate at the nexus of sales, customer onboarding, account expansion, product development, and engineering. Your primary responsibilities will include contributing to deal closure, ensuring customer value realization, and fostering growth through the adoption of advanced use cases and features. This is a hands-on position that involves working directly with customer environments, troubleshooting intricate workflows, developing practical technical solutions, and devising workarounds to maintain project momentum. If you are driven by the success of deal closures, customer go-lives, and account expansion, this role is ideal for you.

You will support all global markets and work an adjusted shift from 4 pm to 1 am IST. This schedule is strategically designed to ensure significant overlap with our Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams, facilitating prompt decision-making, enhanced collaboration, and superior customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales and Revenue Growth: Collaborate closely with Account Executives to define and execute the technical solution strategy during evaluations and proof-of-concepts. Design compelling and credible solution approaches that align Signeasy's platform with genuine business needs, simplifying complex ideas. Proactively identify risks, swiftly troubleshoot issues, and propose effective workarounds to unblock deals. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and strategically position Signeasy.
  • Onboard Customers and Accelerate Time-to-Value: Assist with the technical onboarding and initial implementation phases for new customers. Help customers configure workflows, integrations, and data models. Develop simple scripts, API-based workflows, or configurations tailored to specific customer requirements. Ensure seamless transitions from sales to customer success with robust technical documentation.
  • Drive Expansion and Product Impact: Support advanced use cases, new team rollouts, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Partner with Customer Success on renewals and upsells by providing strong technical credibility. Capture and translate customer feedback, technical gaps, and feature requests into actionable input for the Product and Engineering teams.

AI-First Expectations:

Artificial Intelligence is fundamental to Signeasy's approach to product development and operations. As a Solutions Engineer, you are expected to leverage AI extensively to expedite problem-solving, solution design, and execution. This includes utilizing AI tools for prototyping workflows, troubleshooting, exploring integrations, and identifying innovative methods to deliver customer value. Experience in building or experimenting with AI-powered workflows, automations, or agents is highly preferred. Curiosity and the ability to learn rapidly are as important as prior exposure.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of customer-facing experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consulting role.
  • Strong technical foundation in SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience in testing and integrating API-based solutions, including working with REST APIs, JSON payloads, webhooks, and API testing tools like Postman (or equivalents).
  • Ability to independently build simple technical solutions to address customer use cases and experience using AI-native tools for rapid prototyping (e.g., Claude, Cursor).
  • Experience in troubleshooting integrations and complex workflows across multiple systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with a strong bias toward action.
  • Motivation to work closely with revenue and customer outcomes.
  • Willingness to work a global shift from 5 pm to 2 am IST.

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience using LLMs and AI-native IDEs for rapid prototyping (e.g., Claude, Cursor).
  • Experience with contract management, document automation, or workflow platforms.
  • Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, or financial services.
  • Experience supporting mid-market sales motions.
