Solution Architect

Join EY's GDS Assurance Digital team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, as a Solution Architect - Manager. In this permanent role, you will contribute to developing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions that enhance our audit clients' experience and engagement teams' efficiency. You will gain deep technical knowledge in Audit and hone your skills in databases, data analytics, and programming.

In response to ever-increasing regulations, audit departments need robust solutions to gather, organize, and analyze vast amounts of data from diverse systems. Our GDS Assurance Digital team collaborates with EY partners, clients, and subject matter experts to create technology solutions that deliver value, improve efficiency, and provide market-leading tools for Assurance services.

This team provides solution architecture, application development, testing, and maintenance support globally. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/MCA & MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with significant industry experience.

Key Technical Skills Required:

• 12 to 16 years of industry experience with a BE/BTech/MCA.
• Proven experience in building Windows and web applications.
• Strong experience in system and application integration.
• Proficiency in technologies such as .NET, Kubernetes, Azure, and Single Page Applications (SPA).
• Azure architect certifications (AZ-304 & AZ-305) are preferred.
• Extensive experience in application design, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Microservices.
• Significant experience with Azure Stack for building scalable applications, including Web Apps, Logic Apps, Data Bricks, HD Insight, and Cosmos DB.
• Experience in building applications with large databases.
• Strong MVC experience with .NET.
• Experience building applications with technology stacks like SPA (React) and .NET Core with Entity Framework.
• Proficiency in designing and working with both Relational Databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
• Extensive experience in DevOps implementations.
• Understanding of Information Security aspects during application development.
• Familiarity with Red box constraints and deployment strategies.
• Sound understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment focusing on Microsoft Technologies.
