Software Test Engineer – Playwright

About This Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright with TypeScript, functional testing, and AI-assisted tools. The ideal candidate will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts while leveraging modern AI to improve coverage and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Design test scenarios based on business requirements and execute them effectively.
• Analyze defects and report issues with technical evidence.
• Maintain existing automation frameworks to ensure reliability.
• Implement self-healing or AI-assisted scripts for robust UI changes handling.
• Leverage Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc., for debugging and script creation.
• Evaluate application behavior against functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
