Software Test Engineer

Join Daxko as an Analyst II in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value features in short iterations. As a key member of our agile team, you will proactively identify potential issues during sprint planning, ensuring robust planning before code development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS and Android mobile applications using Appium or Detox.
• Conduct end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity tests for mobile applications.
• Set up and execute load and performance tests using tools like k6.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and releases.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the build process.
• Log defects, analyze root causes, and validate fixes within agile development cycles.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular reports on test coverage and results.
• Identify and implement opportunities for test process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on mobile application testing.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Appium, Detox, or similar alternatives.
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with performance testing tools like k6 or similar.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of both manual and automated test strategies.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira/TestRail.
• Practical experience writing database queries.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React Native mobile applications.
• Exposure to analytics and crash reporting tools like Instana.
