Software Test Engineer II

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer II skilled in Python or Ruby. This role involves creating automated tests from manual scripts, collaborating with engineering teams on functional requirements, and ensuring system quality before releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain automated test suites using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Behave.
• Troubleshoot issues across complex API, web, and network applications with database backends.
• Execute tests within CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins or GitLab Runners.
• Manage virtualized environments such as VMWare ESXi and operate on Linux, Windows, and MacOS systems.
• Analyze historical test data to evaluate product quality and release readiness.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in relevant QA roles.
• Proficiency in Python/Ruby, Git version control strategies, and OOP concepts.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, IP networking (TCP/IP), and firewall configurations.
• Able to work independently within a disciplined Agile environment.
