Software Quality Analyst (SQA) Opportunity at Comviva

Comviva is seeking a skilled Software Quality Analyst (SQA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing our software quality assurance processes throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will drive process improvements, conduct audits, and contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of our product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply software quality assurance principles across the SDLC.
• Identify and implement process improvements at unit and organizational levels.
• Conduct process compliance audits for product units and support functions.
• Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, risk management, and other PMBOK process areas.
• Prepare for and facilitate internal and external quality audits.
• Perform extensive data analysis, generate reports and dashboards, and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure timely closure of project and process non-conformities.
• Identify training needs and deliver targeted training sessions.
• Analyze fault patterns and implement process enhancements to prevent recurrence.
• Measure and improve process effectiveness using defined metrics.

Functional Skills:

• Experience leading ISO 9001/TL 9000 audit certifications or metrics measurement.
• Extensive experience in software quality metrics measurement and improvement.
• Solid understanding of PMBOK Process Areas.
• Knowledge of CMMI, LEAN/Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to extract actionable insights and trends from large datasets.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
• Functional knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis.
• Basic Business Acumen.

Technical & Tools Proficiency:

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including charts, macros, pivot tables, and report generation.
• Proficient in creating impactful presentations using MS PowerPoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Project Plan (MSP).
• Working knowledge of GITHUB, JIRA, and Confluence.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to articulate process non-compliances, performance status, and improvement areas, and to recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive outcomes.
• Confident and passionate about achieving goals.
• Skilled in delivering compelling presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Educational Background & Experience:

• For I4 equivalent/IC: BE/B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Industrial), MCA (with 2-4 years of SDLC experience), or MTQM (with 2-4 years of SDLC experience and Computer Science as a compulsory UG subject).
• For I5/I6 equivalent/IC: BE/B.Tech, MCA, or MTQM with 5-6 years of relevant SQA experience in software product development (preferably telecom) or 5-6 years of experience as a quality engineer in another technology industry.
