Role Overview
Zycus is transforming enterprise procurement through AI-native architecture. At the core of our platform is Merlin AI, an agentic AI engine powering autonomous workflows across Source-to-Pay. We are building enterprise software where AI is not a feature—it is the foundation.
We are looking for passionate and curious BE/B.Tech 2027 graduates who are excited about building scalable software and leveraging AI to become highly productive engineers. This role is ideal for students with strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot.
Key Responsibilities
- AI-Augmented Engineering: Use AI tools to assist in coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and learning new technologies. Learn prompt engineering techniques and collaborate with senior engineers using AI-assisted workflows.
- Backend Engineering: Develop backend applications using Java (preferred) and Spring Boot. Build REST APIs, microservices, work with databases/data models, write clean code, and participate in code reviews.
- AI-Aware Development: Learn how AI-powered applications are designed, contribute to building APIs interacting with AI systems, and gain exposure to enterprise-scale AI workflows.
Eligibility Criteria
You must be graduating in 2027. Minimum academic requirement is 80% (or equivalent CGPA) in 10th, 12th, and BE/B.Tech with no active backlogs.
Prioritized Skills:
- Data Structures & Algorithms, OOP, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks
- Java programming (preferred)
- Familiarity with Git/Version Control and REST APIs
- Bonus: Projects using AI tools/LlMs, hackathons, open-source contributions, cloud knowledge.
