Software Integrations Developer

Role Purpose

The Software Integrations Developer acts as the architect of connectivity within our digital ecosystem. You will design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions that bridge disparate systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Leveraging Microsoft Azure stack technologies like Databricks and Data Factory, you will transform complex business requirements into scalable, automated workflows.

Key Accountabilities

• Data Engineering: Design end-to-end pipelines (batch/streaming) using Azure Data Factory/Synapse Pipelines/Databricks.
• ETL/ELT Development: Build scalable workflows with PySpark, SQL, and Databricks notebooks for large-scale datasets.
• Lakehouse Architecture: Lead design of Delta Lake-based architectures (bronze/silver/gold layers).
• Integration Solutions: Connect line-of-business apps using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus/Event Grid.
• API Management: Develop secure REST APIs with versioning and authentication via Azure API Management.
• Performance Optimization: Tune Spark jobs for cost efficiency and reliability; ensure 99.9% uptime.
• DevOps & Governance: Manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring high-quality documentation.

Candidate Profile

We seek a professional with 5+ years in Data Engineering and 3+ years hands-on experience with Azure Databricks. You should be proficient in Python (PySpark), SQL, and ETL/ELT patterns including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD). Expertise in Azure ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics, and building enterprise-scale pipelines is essential.
