Software Engineer/Programmer

We are hiring a Software Engineer/Programmer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for our products.

About the role: You will work closely with product, design, and QA teams located in Bengaluru to deliver reliable features in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time opportunity based in Bengaluru/Bangalore (India).

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure REST APIs using modern backend practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code
• Work with relational databases, caching, and cloud infrastructure basics
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and production deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js required for this Bengaluru role
• Experience building APIs and integrating third-party services
• Understanding of SQL databases and basic system design concepts
• Good problem-solving ability and clear communication skills essential for our Bengaluru team
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (relevant for Indian tech stack)
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines commonly used in Bangalore startups
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven systems popular in the region
